Happy Sunday, beautiful people!
This week the weather has been hot enough to prepare me for what is bound to be my eternal afterlife in Hades. I spent a good 15 minutes on Tuesday doing some serious research on whether removing my skin would cool me down (I’ll save you some time, the effort required to do it would outweigh any cooling benefits sadly). If wearing clothes is going to feel like swaddling myself in fur, what else could I do apart from throw on my most fabulous bikini and take a trip to the pool!
I packed the essentials, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, filthy reading material, and headed out with nothing but relaxing and cooling off on my mind. Little did I know the day was going to end in bloodshed….
After finding the perfect spot to dip my toes I ordered a cherrytini, and prepared to relax when suddenly WHOOSH a rogue game of water polo infiltrated my quiet time and I was soaked! Gone where the artfully created curls and painstakingly applied make up and in their place was a swamp monster dripping all over her designer bikini!
Needless to say what else is a girl to do in such a situation? I gathered my belongings, straightened my shoulders….
Locked and loaded and declared WAR!!!
