When I first heard of a new Blade Runner inspired build going live, as a life long Science Fiction fan I knew immediately I had to see it. I was expecting to find lots of lights, metal, some grit… but this place… this place is something else.
When you first arrive after having taken the teleport portal in the main landing area and come out of the subway entrance, you quickly realize you’re not just entering another build or even another environment; you’ve stepped into a completely different mind set.
A world where things like trees or grass are considered pests more then picturesque and the only acceptable idea of getting fresh air is from the discharge of the high grade air filters from the penthouses.
From the high end gentleman’s lounge called, “The Snake Pit” just to your left, the Arcade just behind you, the police headquarters down the street on your right or even the outdoor food markets, advertisements and apartments scattered along the streets, everything is more than just nice to look at, it’s fully interactive; offering a level of detail and engagement that only invites one to explore and discover even more. Add to that the music playing on the stream along with the environmental elements, it creates a truly immersive experience.
Whether you’re visiting for photography, role play, a sense of nostalgia or simply to explore, this is a location you will not want to miss.
