Where the Music, Masks, and Magic Meet in Second Life
Sapphire Ballroom – [TELEPORT]
Most longtime residents of Second Life know Rockin’ Robin—one of the grid’s most beloved multi-decade dance clubs, alive with energy day and night thanks to its impressive lineup of live performers and DJs spinning 24/7. But few may realize that the creative team behind Rockin’ Robin also hosts a sister venue dedicated to a more refined experience: Sapphire Ballroom.

Recently, I was invited to attend their 1st Annual Masquerade Ball — a grand formal event held at the ballroom owned by PureLife Magnifico and Ev Canadi, co-founders of Rockin’ Robin. The event was hosted by their good friends, Gavin and Tassia Zeitman.
From the moment I arrived, I could tell this was something special. The ballroom itself is stunning—an expansive indoor venue adorned with elegant décor, shimmering chandeliers, and classic artwork that perfectly complements its sophisticated theme.

My friend, Colette and I arrived just before 7 PM, and the venue was already bustling with nearly sixty guests in attendance. The night’s DJ was none other than PureLife Magnifico, another Co-Founder of the Rockin’ Robin group. His seamless set of romantic tunes and upbeat classics kept the dance floor alive, creating an atmosphere that felt both festive and intimate. Between masked faces, swirling gowns, and sharp tuxedos, it was clear everyone came ready to celebrate in style.

While Sapphire Ballroom is open to all 24/7, its formal event takes place only once a week—Friday evenings at 7 PM (SLT). Guests are encouraged to dress to impress and join a welcoming crowd of music lovers who know how to make every dance count.

If you’re looking for a night of elegance, charm, and community, make sure to stop by Sapphire Ballroom. You might just find yourself waltzing into one of Second Life’s most enchanting weekly traditions.
