The Burrow

The other night, I stumbled across a place so enchanting that I started casually calculating how many LI would need to secretly rez a bed and claim squatters’ rights. The Burrow, created by Albane Claray, made me do that….

From the outside, it’s “just” a Mainland parcel (ha! as if Mainland could ever be “just”), but step one foot onto the property and you’re immediately transported into a magical wonderland that feels like it’s a whole region. Think crooked charm, lush gardens, and the strong suspicion that fairytale characters are about to burst out of the shrubbery and demand tea.

🌿 The Garden of Whimsy

The garden alone had me twirling around like a Disney princess with questionable balance. Winding paths, whimsical details, and that indescribable “something magical is lurking here” atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you expect rabbits in waistcoats to be running late and owls to deliver your mail. I half-expected someone to hand me a quest scroll before I even got to the door.

🪄 Step Inside, Abandon All Boring Reality

Inside The Burrow, the fun really begins. Picture this: a broom sweeping merrily on its own (housekeeping goals, honestly), a teapot that obediently pours your tea without nagging about sugar intake, and a table that looks straight out of Alice’s “oops I drank the wrong potion” diary. Every nook and cranny whispers, “A witch or wizard definitely lives here, and probably forgot to lock up.”

There are three floors to explore, but don’t expect boring old staircases. Oh no. At The Burrow, you travel in style. Let’s just say fireplaces and powdery substances are involved, and it’s the first time in my life I’ve enjoyed getting lost in chimneys.

✨ The Joy of Exploration (and Suspicious Furniture)

Every room has that “you could live here if your landlord were a fairy godmother” vibe. There’s even talk of a secret room, but I’m not saying a word. All I’ll admit is: don’t trust stools, and if you find yourself buried in cushions, you’re probably doing it right.

🎩 Pure Magic

The Burrow is pure magic, wrapped in charm, sprinkled with whimsy, and tied up with a bow of “please never let me leave.” It’s a tiny slice of fantasy that proves you don’t need a whole region to feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook, you just need a talented landscaper like Albane Claray and a dash of imagination.

I went for a visit. I stayed for the tea. And who knows? I might still be hiding in there somewhere.
