After an already high-energy afternoon at Vive Ama Rie (LIVE ~ LOVE ~ LAUGH), I couldn’t bring myself to teleport away just yet. The beach breeze, the crowd’s energy, and the lingering Halloween glitter made it impossible to leave without catching the next performer—Shaye Dezno. And it turned out to be one of the best decisions of the day.
Keeping the momentum alive, Vive Ama Rie rolled right into another stellar live set as Shaye took the stage. With her signature country twang and confident stage presence, she brought a touch of Nashville sunshine to the tropical shoreline of Vive. Her voice carried the soul of today’s top country female artists, blending grit, warmth, and genuine storytelling that drew everyone in.
Adding to the charm were her “Back-Up Bitches”— (ღڰۣ: KaRa ღڰۣ:, Lexie Taurog & ღ Karma Jღy Warziders ღ) a playful group of dancers in skimpy beachwear who moved in sync with every beat, adding humor and visual flair to the set. The combination of Shaye’s strong vocals, lively energy, and cheeky visuals made for a perfectly balanced Second Life performance—part concert, part beach party.
But Shaye isn’t one to be boxed into a single genre. Midway through her set, she shifted gears with a stunning rendition of “Every Breath You Take” by The Police, showing her versatility and vocal control. From country and rock to blues and pop, she proved she’s an artist who can truly do it all.
As I sat back, soaking up the virtual sun and unwinding from a long week of late-night Halloween events, Shaye’s music was the perfect soundtrack to the start of November. Vive Ama Rie once again proved why it’s one of Second Life’s most beloved live music destinations—where great company, good vibes, and exceptional talent meet by the water’s edge.
