For today’s date, I roped in my friend Skye to come hang out with me. This is another friend I’ve known for years, and yet I couldn’t tell you when we last actually hung out just the two of us. I know she loves the water, so what better way to spend our date than at a water park? If you’re looking for a fun, activity-filled date where you won’t run out of things to do, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I found this park while searching and, OMG, look at it! It’s amazing! I will say, though, that I took these pictures before our actual date, and the park has now been moved into the sky. It doesn’t really make any difference though, it’s still awesome!

When you arrive, there’s really clear pricing at the entrance, which I appreciate. You can buy single tickets for one avatar or, if there’s more than one of you, there are group rates too. It’s currently 20% off every day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. SLT, and if you’re paying for a group, it’ll automatically apply whichever discount saves you the most money, which I think is great.

Make sure you read the instructions before you pay. It’s not just a case of paying the kiosk, but the instructions are really clear and easy to follow.

1 hour: L$299
2 hours: L$449
3 hours: L$599
4 hours: L$749
24 hours: L$1499

Group rates

  • 1hr & 2hr passes: 5% off
  • 3hr+ passes:
    • 2-9: 10%
    • 10-14: 15%
    • 15-19: 20%
    • 20-29: 25%
    • 30+: 30%

When we got into the park, it was so huge and packed with things to do that it was honestly a little overwhelming! We decided to start with the slides, which, I have to say, involve a lot of stairs! If you’re not great at steering (not saying I’m not. I’m an awesome steerer and absolutely did not almost fall off the sides about 12 times), I highly suggest letting the most competent avatar driver go first and then TP you up. It was 100% worth it though. The slides are so much fun, and you don’t even have to worry about getting a wedgie on the way down!

We raced down the rainbow slide a few times and, despite being flung violently off the end and nearly breaking several essential bones, it was fantastic!

We tried a few of the other slides too, but there were so many, and we wanted to fit in more activities, so we headed over to the water games instead. We weren’t very successful at basketball, but I’m blaming the game for that one. It had absolutely nothing to do with user error, no matter what anyone tells you!

After failing miserably at being athletes, we went diving. That seemed much more our speed. We both nailed this one, so expect to see us at the next SL Olympics.

After all that exercise, we hopped into one of the many floaties for some well-earned relaxation. Skye grabbed a cocktail, there were cuddles, and life was good. Most, if not all, of the floaties have both single and cuddle poses, which is a lovely touch for a date.

We couldn’t leave without grabbing some food and, of course, I went all out and had watermelon and a burger at the same time. I highly recommend the combination. Fruity and meaty… delicious! Skye was much more dainty and ladylike with her fries. Then, to wash it all down, we grabbed a stool at one of the many little bars and had a slushie.

Top tip: Click the “Pull” lever to make the slushie and again to pick it up. This was not easy to figure out!

Once we’d eaten, we were far too full to jump straight back into the water, so for safety’s sake we lounged around chatting and enjoying the park. There are loads of these covered seating areas with loungers, and again they all have both single and couple poses if you’re after a little romance.

I really enjoyed this date! There were plenty of opportunities to sit and chat and get to know someone, or you could just run around, play, and have fun together. Nothing too serious, just good, clean fun! The rainbow slide was probably my favourite, although the floaties were a close second. Would I come back? Absolutely. This is definitely one I’d happily revisit with friends or a date.
