Second Life is absolutely bursting with amazing Halloween builds and spooky places to visit this time of year. We are so fortunate to have such a talented and creative community bringing the virtual world to life with haunted houses, creepy forests, and eerie carnival rides.
One of my favourite stops this season was Love Valley Halloween, and wow, what a treat (and a few tricks)! The region is packed with ghosts, ghouls, spiders, witches, goblins, and all kinds of spooky surprises waiting around every corner.

As soon as we landed, we couldn’t resist jumping straight onto one of the little fairground rides. There are several scattered throughout the region, along with a full haunted circus area complete with scary clowns, flickering lights, and a towering ferris wheel. We especially loved the broomsticks perched on the witches’ hats, such a clever touch!

Walking further down the path, we came across an old rusty iron gate covered in cobwebs. “Ooooh, spiders,” I thought, but no worries, I’m brave! Or so I thought… The moment we stepped through the gate, enormous spiders came scuttling toward us and actually jumped on us and stayed there!. We both squealed in real life, I screamed so loud I had to go tell my mum I was okay! 😂

Once we recovered from our spider attack, we continued our journey through the misty woods and stumbled upon a coven of witches gathered around a bubbling cauldron. Keep your eyes peeled though, there are a few zombies wandering around who might just try to nibble at your ankles!

One of the great parts of Love Valley Halloween is that building is enabled, which means there are lots of little spots where you can rez your own poses or props. It’s perfect for grabbing some gorgeous Halloween-themed snapshots for your Flickr, Primfeed, or in-world profile. Just remember to clean up after your photoshoot so the region stays tidy for everyone else to enjoy.

All in all, Love Valley Halloween is an incredible region that perfectly captures the spirit of the spooky season. It’s fun, beautifully designed, and full of delightful (and frightful) surprises, definitely a must-visit for anyone exploring Halloween in Second Life this year.
