It hasn’t escaped my notice that, for a date blog, I have yet to go on a date with a man. I know what you’re all thinking. “But Magenta, won’t it be awful having to date numerous gorgeous men just to find content for your blog?!” And yes, yes it will be, but I am willing to take one for the team and do it so you don’t have to. No need to thank me. It’s just the kind of selfless woman I am.
On that note, to kick things off with the men, I dragged my boss, Samual Wetherby, out for dinner and dancing.
We started things off at Dorsia for dinner. This restaurant is so well done and, honestly, I’m surprised it isn’t completely packed. If you just want to sit, enjoy the venue, and maybe have a drink, it’s completely free. If you want to enjoy the restaurant itself and gain access to the food menu, it’s L$375 to join the group. It’s a one-time fee, and after that you can come back and enjoy it as much as you like.

We started with drinks and, as I’m trying to impress my boss, I went with champagne and caviar. Not that I’m trying to get him drunk so he gives me a good rating. That’s probably unethical or something.

After we were suitably lubricated, we wandered over to our table for dinner. For appetizers, I ordered the Iberico Euphoria, and Sam went with the shrimp. It was a monster shrimp! You definitely get your money’s worth here. The menu gives you a choice of appetizers, mains, desserts, and drinks, so you can go for a full dinner or just a quick bite, depending on how much time you have. For our mains, we both went with the Lamb Rib Royale, which looked really good! I was kinda sad it was only pixel food, to be honest.

The venue is really lovely, and the tables are mostly well spaced out, so you can have some privacy if you want it. There are tables for two or larger groups, so you could always make it a double date with friends.

After we were thoroughly full, we decided to visit somewhere a little more adult. (I totally cleared this with HR, and they were fine with it. Might be because Sam is the entire HR department, but even so… fully approved!)
The Monarch is a Gentleman’s Club on the Rooftops sim, and I do need to warn anyone thinking of visiting that this is an adult venue on an adult sim. There will be adults there, possibly doing adult things. If that isn’t your thing (no yucking anyone’s yum here), then this probably isn’t the place for you.

There is a dress code here. Gentlemen are required to wear suits, and for women I’d recommend cocktail or formal wear. If in doubt, a pretty, fancy dress will totally suffice. This is also a male Dom club, so be sure to grab a copy of the rules as you enter because there are rules.

We sneaked into a corner so we could people-watch while we danced because this club is always busy. If people-watching is your thing (it’s definitely mine), then this is a great place to do it!

The Monarch has its own system set up so couples can interact anywhere in the club, which I think is great and something I wish more places would do! Think of couples’ dance balls in clubs, but this also includes cuddles, standing poses, and more… ahem… adult activities if that’s your thing.

It’s also a beautifully decorated club. Everything is elegant and refined and I really enjoy hanging out here just checking out the small details that are added to make it a really welcoming venue.
This was a really fun, romantic, charming date, and I had a really nice time! I’d say if you’re wanting to get to know someone better, this would make a great evening out. There are lots of opportunities to chat, spend some quiet time together, and maybe even get a little closer.
