Slow Burn Ignites AfterGlow at Vive Ama RIE

For years, Vive Ama RIE has been one of Second Life’s premier destinations for live music and entertainment. Nearly every major live performer in Second Life has graced their stage at one point or another, helping cement the venue as a long-standing staple in the music scene.

Recently, Vive Ama RIE has continued evolving in a major way. From moving to a beautifully redesigned new sim, expanding and updating their residential rentals, to developing a full-scale concert venue that has already hosted AVI Choice Award-winning tribute acts like Rebel Yell, there is always something happening across at Vive Ama RIE.

Led by owner Portia Starlight alongside manager Ed Valerik, the team has recently been putting together an impressive variety of themed events and experiences. One standout was their massive May 4th Star Wars Galactic Takeover Party, which brought the community together in full force. But before that, guests also received a sneak peek of something new — a stylish Las Vegas-inspired venue known as AfterGlow during the New Year’s Eve celebration.

On May 11th, www.SLInsiderGuide.com sponsored and I had the privilege of being invited to curate an event called Slow Burn inside the new AfterGlow venue. The night blended dance, club energy, and seductive slower tracks together to create an atmosphere that felt flirtatious, upscale, and undeniably sexy.

And the crowd absolutely showed up.

The dance floor quickly filled with some of the best dressed women and men in attendance — though the ladies may have wished a few more gentlemen had made an appearance. Still, the energy throughout the venue stayed strong all evening as guests danced, socialized, and settled into the immersive Vegas lounge atmosphere that AfterGlow delivers so well.

Helping keep the night flowing were my amazing hosts, Maeve Kilara of Magic Moments and Ticka Alphaville from the Vive Ama RIE staff team. Both made sure guests felt welcomed from the moment they arrived, encouraging everyone to join group dances led by Ticka herself throughout the evening.

The visual presentation matched the venue perfectly. Dark angel wings, elegant corsets, dramatic accessories, and high-end styling transformed the stage area into something that truly felt worthy of a luxury Vegas nightclub experience.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who attended Slow Burn on May 11th. Events like these are what continue to make the Second Life nightlife community so special, and we hope to see many more familiar faces at future events across Vive Ama RIE.
