SHOPPING IN SECOND LIFE: A CASE OF WRONG SIDE, RIGHT SHIRT!

Shopping for me in Second Life is HARD. And I mean HARD. Finding something that fits my style, works with my wardrobe, and doesn’t require a complete avatar makeover? That’s a challenge!

So my friend Eva recommends the MORGAN Henley Shirt from Cold Ash, available at the Equal10 Event. Naturally, I head over to check it out.

I find the display, click the Fatpack sign, and buy it without a second thought. Easy, right? 😎

Except… I wasn’t paying attention. 🤦‍♂️

Turns out, there are TWO versions! The men’s version is on the RIGHT side of the displays, and the women’s version is on the LEFT.

Guess which one I picked? Yep. The wrong one! 😂

Since I wasn’t exactly equipped with the avatar accessories to pull off the female version, I reached out to ASH, the designer behind Cold Ash. And here’s where this story gets good: ASH was absolutely wonderful and kindly swapped it for the correct version. Now THAT’S customer service!

And the verdict?
I LOVE IT!

The MORGAN Henley is stylish, fits beautifully, and comes with a fantastic selection of colors in the Fatpack. You can wear it with or without the undershirt, and the undershirt has color options, too. It’s a great casual, long-sleeve shirt that pairs easily with a variety of pants.

So, if you’re looking to upgrade your casual wardrobe in Second Life, do yourself a favor and check this one out!

Just remember my little shopping tip: MEN’S VERSION = RIGHT SIDE. Unless you’re shopping for someone else, of course!
