POEM
In the hush where shadows gather,
I stand between silence
and the quiet hush of the world around me,
A moth-winged dream pressed gently
Against the face I call my own.

The night breathes softly around me,
Threading whispers through my hair,
While dark wings stir the stillness
Like secrets floating through the air.

The breeze around me remembers
Every sorrow carved in black,
Every fleeting touch of moonlight
That never found its way back.

And somewhere beneath the quiet,
Under lace and hidden skin,
Are thoughts too deep for daylight,
Too restless to keep within.

They flutter like midnight creatures,
Fragile, wild, unseen,
Brushing against my trembling heart
From places I have been.

The wind knows every longing,
Every ache I could not speak,
And carries them through darkness
To the parts of me I seek.

So I remain among the shadows,
Where the lost and lovely start,
A woman crowned by darkness,
With flutters unraveling my heart.
