Big Daddy’s Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

VENUE ~ Big Daddy’s
Owner ~ Chuck (Chuckles Orfan)

For 15 years, Big Daddy’s Music Club has turned October pink, bringing the Second Life community together for a month of music, fun, prizes, and—most importantly—a meaningful cause.

Beginning October 1, Big Daddy’s launches its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in support of the fight against breast cancer.

Throughout the entire month, visitors can donate to pink ribbons or luminaries displayed at the club. For every L$100 donated, you’ll receive an entry into the end-of-month prize drawing. There’s no limit to the number of times you can enter, so every donation gives you another chance to win one of the fantastic Grand Prizes donated by Big Daddy’s generous sponsors.

Think Pink Thursdays

Every Thursday becomes “Think Pink Thursday” at Big Daddy’s. Staff and VIPs are encouraged to wear pink as a visible show of support for breast cancer survivors, those currently fighting the disease, and those whose lives have been lost.

It’s more than a color—it’s a way for the Big Daddy’s community to stand together.

Angels and Ribbons — The Closing Celebration

The month-long celebration concludes with “Angels and Ribbons” on Thursday, October 29, an evening dedicated to honoring survivors, fighters, and those who are no longer with us.

Following the closing celebration, the Grand Prize winners will be drawn on November 1, 2026.

For 15 years, Big Daddy’s has proven that a Second Life music venue can make a real-world difference. So come dance, enjoy the music, wear some pink, and help Big Daddy’s continue its tradition of giving back.
